Our History...

  • Middleton Community Bank is proud to celebrate 21 years of banking and financial service to our friends and neighbors.
  • In March of 1994, a group of local citizens and business owners organized a movement to charter a community bank to serve Middleton and the surrounding Dane County market. The planning, organizing, and regulatory banking application consumed almost one year before final approval was granted on December 14, 1994. On January 31, 1995, Middleton Community Bank opened its doors for business.
  • The Bank’s Board of Directors has taken a very active role from the original date of charter application to current day decisions on policies and procedures, ensuring a continued level of continuity and trust within our community.
  • In March of 2008, we expanded by adding branches in both Belleville and Brooklyn, Wisconsin. In 2011 we opened a branch in Sauk City, Wisconsin, and in 2013 we opened our fifth location in Cross Plains, Wisconsin. Each branch has continued to support and build on the values of our institution in each market they represent.
  • In these 21 years, Middleton Community Bank has grown to over $272 million in assets, while serving well over 10,000 accounts. We pride ourselves on customer service, while assisting many families and businesses meet their financial goals. Since our inception, we have been committed to our clients and the community.
